HISTORY ASPECTS:The Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk introduced to the U.S. Army in 1979 revolutionized battlefield mobility and air support for American forces. Designed as a robust versatile utility helicopter it replaced the Bell UH-1 Iroquois and offered advanced capabilities in terms of speed range and payload.
