Life (2017)

The story begins innocently enough - the crew of the International Space Station intercepts a capsule containing a soil sample from Mars. Buried in the Martian soil is a single-celled organism, which they name Calvin. The elation of discovering life from another planet quickly gives way to terror when Calvin begins to develop at an astounding rate. The alien proves way less cute than its name - it is murderous and seemingly unstoppable. Trapped in space with a deadly alien, the crew is forced to fight for their lives with no possibility of outside help. If you like films similar to the Alien franchise, then you'll enjoy this one.
