Set in 12th century England, The Pillars of the Earth tells the story of three residents of Kingsbridge who fight to survive and build a great cathedral. You'll play as Jack, Aliena, and Philip. Jack is a peasant boy with a great gift for masonry and building. Aliena is a disgraced noblewoman. Philip is a monk and the prior of the small abbey in Kingsbridge. Destiny throws these different characters together as they struggle to build a cathedral that could provide security and wealth for their entire village. Not simply a retelling of the book, the choices you make and exploration you undertake let you change the events of the story.
