Conception II Children of the Seven Stars

PlayStation Vita - This fever-dream of a Japanese RPG is about creating Star Children so they can fight monsters. The world of Alterra has been ravaged by monsters for 20 years, but only Disciples and Star Children can defeat them. Play as a new Disciple at the Academy, a special school in Fort City where Disciples can train and create Star Children to assist them in battle. Star Children's attributes are determined by their mothers, and different combinations of children and parents result in different abilities and powers on the battlefield. Through careful courtship with other Disciples and combat with monsters, everyone learns important lessons about battle strategy and family bonding. It's part dating sim and part stat-heavy Japanese dungeon-crawler. In other words: crazy awesome.
