Filled with beautiful people, gorgeous scenery, and hilarious gags, you couldn't ask for a better summertime send-up comedy than Baywatch. A spoof of the gloriously cheesy 1989 TV series, Baywatch stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as head lifeguard Mitch Buchannon. He's recruiting some new lifeguards for the squad, and the newcomers are - interesting. They include Ronnie Greenbaum, Summer Quinn, and Matt Brody, who is a disgraced former Olympic swimmer. Brody figures he's a shoo-in, but his arrogance rubs Buchannon the wrong way, and the two men clash. But when a criminal threatens their beach, the ragtag Baywatch crew will have to find a way to come together and save the waves.
