Cinderella (2015)
4K UHD -Everyone knows the story of Cinderella, and Director Kenneth Branagh's take on the classic fairy tale is a study in sincerity. Instead of an ironic modern retelling, Cinderella revels in every detail of the much-loved story. Branagh presents the pumpkin coach, the evil stepsisters, and the impractical footwear with respect, reminding us why this is a classic story to begin with. The sets and costumes are lavish, the acting is fantastic, and the moral of the story (that true love conquers all) is still relevant - even without a wisecracking sidekick. Sure, most people will probably be familiar with the plot points - but for younger kids, the story is still new. It's so well crafted, that even jaded viewers will be charmed by this classic romantic tale.
