The newest entry in the Jake Hunter series begins with the accidental death of a homeless man in a mysterious mansion. Despite the crime scene appearing relatively normal, Jake can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. Over the course of his investigation, Jake enlists the help of an old friend to get to the bottom of this horrible crime and uncover the identity of the true culprit. After successfully solving the case, the owner of the mansion approaches Jake with a new proposal, but events soon take a turn for the bizarre. An incident seemingly buried 30 years ago has emerged, plunging the city into chaos as secrets hidden within a long-forgotten mansion are forced into the light. Now it's all on Jake Hunter to uncover the source of this madness.
